Ages 5 -12. If you work in a school as a counselor, school psychologist, or special education teacher, then this is the game collection for you. These four games cover the most common problems encountered in a school situation and are designed for play in individual or group counseling or in the classroom.
Collection includes the following games:
Bounce Back Game: When children possess specific resiliency skills such as insight, a sense of humor, and persistence, they can cope with psychological problems that might otherwise have lifelong effects. This game challenges players to find answers to problems and reduce their stress level. The game includes cards, balls, stress magnets, and 90 question cards. For 4 players.
The Classroom Behavior Game: A helpful game to address the most common complaint of teachers, kids with problem behaviors. Reinforces 12 positive classroom behaviors, including: raising your hand, taking turns, ignoring others, having a positive attitude, and others. As players move through the classroom, they earn points by matching their Good Behavior Cards to the questions taken from the teacher’s desk. The person with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. The game also comes with a pad of behavioral report cards and an apple stamp to turn the game into an instant behavioral program. Designed to help young children who have difficulty following classroom rules to learn positive behavior in an enjoyable way.
No More Bullies Game: A fun and safe way to learn to deal with bullies. Created by teachers and Guidance Counselors and field-tested for eight years, this game deals effectively with the problem of bullying. Players create a puzzle that `transforms` the bully into a nice guy. Along the way, bullies discover alternate ways to behave, while victims learn how to deal with bullies. The game includes 39 cooling off puzzle cards, 20 Talk It Out cards, 8 Puzzle pieces, 1 6-sided die, and 4 pawns. For 2-4 players.
You & Me Game: A cooperative board game that teaches day-to-day social skills and social awareness. Designed to help children become socially aware of the world they live in, as they build the social skills they need in everyday life: helping, sharing, being polite, cooperating, understanding different points of views, listening, following rules, acting assertively, and being a friend. Players work as a team, there are no individual winners. 2-6 players. Contents: 48 ACT cards, 48 TALK cards, 48 DRAW cards, 2 Dice, Sand Timer, 100 Chips, 6 Pawns, and Instructions.
