Totika is a wood stacking game like no other! While trying to keep the stack from falling over, players draw cards and answer questions to promote conversation, relationship building, personal growth, and self-esteem.
This set includes 48 Colored Blocks and Ten Decks of Question Cards. Each deck consists of 48 cards and over 150 questions.
The ten decks are the Anger Cards, Bullying Cards, Ice Breaker Cards, English Self-Esteem Question cards, Spanish Self-Esteem cards, Resilience cards, Jr. Principles, Values, and Beliefs cards, Teen-Adult Principles, Values, and Beliefs cards, Life Skills, and the Divorce Question Deck.
Totika is suitable for 2 or more players, ages 8 to adult.
The Self-Esteem cards included in the box, encourages young people to explore self-confidence, healthy growth and development, setting and achieving goals, and valuing self. There is an English set and a Spanish set of cards.
The Ice-breaker Question cards have over 196 thoughtful conversation starters and prompts. These cards can be used with one other person or in a small group. It is also appropriate for families.
The Divorce cards encourage children to talk about their parents divorce, their feelings, and identify strategies for coping. Playing the Totika game helps children relax as they discuss this difficult subject.
The Teen-Adult Principles, Values and Beliefs cards consist of over 150 thought-provoking questions about personal principles, values and beliefs. The open-ended questions are designed to promote moral development, social awareness and civility. Questions in this card deck are more challenging and not appropriate for players under 13.
The Jr. Principles, Values, and Beliefs cards are similar, but written for younger children, ages eight and up. The set includes open-ended questions designed to promote moral development, social awareness and civility. This deck is intended for use with children but may be used with adult players too.
The Life Skills card deck includes open-ended questions intended to promote healthy relationships, social skills, coping strategies, critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
The Anger cards includes 150 open-ended questions, anger scenarios, prompts and sentence completion intended to promote discussions about and strategies for coping with and resolving anger.
The Resilience cards are intended to promote discussions about effective stress management and problem-solving, understanding feelings, forming healthy friendships and a positive self-concept and outlook.
The Bullying cards include open-ended questions, bullying scenarios, sentence completion and prompts addressing the elements of bullying, and are intended to promote discussions about bullying and strategies for coping with and resolving bullying.
